However, what we thought was going to be a short hop in a cramped van turned out to be a rather long journey home. On the motorway. Now about 5cm of rusty metal separated us from the tarmac that was passing beneath us at 100 km/h.
That is why myself and Muck chose to spend the drive hanging onto the back of the van as it sped along windy roads at ludicrous speeds.
Things look grim inside the van that is taking our group back to Chiang Mai following our trek in the jungle of Northern Thailand.
